This addition to the Snowflake Data Marketplace further provides customers with easy access to residential and commercial real estate property-specific disaster data for most declared natural disasters, including wildfires, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, and more. The Snowflake Data Marketplace offers a seamless data-sharing experience with no data transfer or integration requirements, enabling users to access live, ready-to-query data for informed decision-making.

The collaboration between Veros and Snowflake expands the accessibility and utilization of Disaster Vision data for a vast array of real estate finance stakeholders. By leveraging Snowflake’s robust Data Cloud, users can quickly assess whether or not properties have been impacted by a natural disaster. Disaster Vision fills the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) gaps to pinpoint the exact properties impacted. It leverages multiple data sources such as satellite imagery, which is updated every six hours or sooner, drone imagery, federal and state agency reports, weather services, National Aeronautics and Space Administration burn points, and FEMA. Veros’ Disaster Vision data reports at the parcel level, quickly leveraging geospatial data to map a core disaster polygon and surrounding buffer zone. It then locates the impacted properties within the polygon by lot boundary, zip code, and physical address, ensuring users know exactly which properties are likely impacted.

By projecting residential home values up to 24 months into the future, VeroFORECAST offers a granular view of the real estate market, allowing users to identify opportunities and assess risks. VeroHPI is a comprehensive asset valuation tool that presents historical value fluctuations. By combining VeroFORECAST’s future insights with VeroHPI’s retrospective analysis, users gain easy-to-use tools to navigate the real estate market.
